The Carroll County Advanced Technial Rescue Team was established in 1994 and is 100% volunteer. Our specialties include confined space, trench, high angle, swift water, and collapse operations.
Our purpose is to provide advanced technical rescue support to our local emergency service agencies.
The team is made possible through Carroll County Volunteer Emergency Services Association. Our truck and collapse trailer are housed at Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company, Inc. Additional weight will be considered for those individuals who possess certifications in Confined Space Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, Rope I-III or Rope Rescue, Trench Rescue, or Structural Collapse. Within one year of acceptance, team mebers are required to provide for themselves an inventory of personal equipment.
